In less than one week, I will be celebrating my twenty-ninth birthday. While I know that there are those who don’t like to be reminded that they are getting a year older, I have never disliked my birthday. Although I may only see some of them one or twice a year, I know that I can always count on seeing my friends and family when my birthday comes around. On just about all of my birthdays, my Mom hosts a great birthday party at our house, complete with plenty of food and fun for everyone who comes. Because I always enjoy making the most out of occasions like this one, my birthday party is not the only thing I have to look forward to doing.

Not only will I be having my party, but I will also be taking a trip to Las Vegas. This will be my third time to visit Las Vegas, but even though I have already been there twice, I know that I will get a chance to have some new experiences. Since it is always more fun to travel with someone instead of alone, I am taking my Dad along with me on this trip. I honestly thought this trip was going to be kind of expensive, but I was pleased to find some really great deals. The expense that surprised me the most (because it cost less than I expected) was the Las Vegas car rental. Although I thought it might be difficult to get a really good deal, the Internet made it surprisingly easy to save the most money possible on the Las Vegas car rental I reserved. All of the reservations are now made for the trip, so all I have to do is wait a little while longer until it is time for me to get on the plane and head to Las Vegas!

If you are like me, then you are extremely pleased that Spring has arrived for us all to enjoy. I couldn’t explain the specific reason why, but I felt like winter was never going to come to an end this year. Fortunately, those cold days are gone for now, so they’re aren’t something I have to worry about for the time being. Instead of spending time talking about a season I don’t even like, let’s talk about how I am kicking off Spring.

About a month ago, my friend gave me a call and asked if I had any interest in going with him on a trip to Las Vegas. Not only was this a really exciting offer, but the trip was already booked, which made things really easy on me. This offer really came at the perfect time, so I accepted it almost immediately and couldn’t wait to take off. When we took off for our trip, our flight went really smoothly.

Once we arrived and un-boarded the plane, we went and picked up our Las Vegas car rental. Booking things like your Las Vegas car rental online is always a good idea, because it will save you time during your actual trip. Since we got that taken care of so quickly, it didn’t take long to begin our actual trip. Being able to spend six days in Las Vegas with someone that I really care about was such a great experience.

The trip was the perfect way to commemorate the start of Spring, and I know that the next five to six months are going to be a lot of fun.

My friend turned twenty-one last month, and we made the decision to throw a party for her in none other than Las Vegas. Although I had an amazing twenty-first birthday party last year, I would be lying if I said that it compared to the birthday party we threw for my friend in Las Vegas. When it comes to celebrating your twenty-first birthday (or any birthday for that matter), you really can’t beat Las Vegas.

The reason that Las Vegas is such an amazing place to celebrate a birthday is because when people say that the party never stops in Vegas, they are not exaggerating. Although we were there for a full three days, I would say that we didn’t sleep for more than eight hours over the course of our entire trip (to put that in perspective, that’s normally how long I sleep in one night). Although we were absolutely exhausted after our trip and literally slept for an entire day when we got back, it was well worth making the most of our time in Las Vegas. That’s not a lifestyle I could lead for an extended period of time, but it was a ton of fun for our handful of days in Vegas!

Although I am still fairly young, I have had the opportunity to visit quite a few places in the United States, along with several places outside of the United States. Even though this may sound amusing (and even cliche) to you, of all the places that I have gone, I think my favorite destination has been Las Vegas.

The reason that I like Las Vegas so much is because it is the one place in the world (at least the world that I have visited so far) where I feel like I can be completely free. While my job requires me to remain quite focused and fairly serious on a regular basis, when I get to Las Vegas, I feel like I can kick back and do anything that I want.

Because I do like Las Vegas so much, I am extremely excited about my upcoming trip to there. I am going to Las Vegas with several of my friends, and even though almost all of us have been there on multiple occasions, one person in the group has never been to Las Vegas before, so we are all looking forward to giving him the full experience!

I feel really lucky that I live close enough to Las Vegas to drive there for a weekend trip, and then be back in time for work on Monday. I honestly can’t count the number of times that I have grabbed a rental car with several of my buddies and headed to Las Vegas for the weekend. You may think that going to Las Vegas on a regular basis would get quite expensive, but we have perfected the art of getting things comped during our trip, so our actual expenses during our trips are surprisingly low.

My latest weekend getaway to Las Vegas was just two weekends ago. One of my buddies called me on Thursday night and asked if I would be up for a weekend trip to our favorite city in the US. I had not made a single plan for the weekend yet, so I told him this would be the perfect time for us to go. He said he completely agreed, and once we got off work on Friday, my friend picked me up from my place in a rental car, along with several of our other buddies, and we had an amazing Las Vegas weekend as always!

In a little over a week, I will be turning twenty-two. It’s strange to say this, because it doesn’t seem that long ago that I was just turning twenty-one. Oh well, I have had an amazing year, and I think the reason that it feels like time has been going by so quickly is because “time always flies by when you are having fun!”

Although I had a great twenty-first birthday, I didn’t take a trip or anything like that. Instead, I spent my birthday at several different bars, enjoying all of the free drinks and shots that my friends were buying for me. For this year’s birthday, I decided that I wanted to switch things up and do something different. I thought about it for awhile, and realized that taking a trip to Las Vegas with a small group of my closest friends would be a ton of fun.

I talked to several of my friends, and they all agreed that this sounded like a great idea. We made our reservation for the hotel (even though I know we won’t sleep much while we are there), flight and rental car, and we are going to be staying in Las Vegas for a total of four days.

When it comes to the best places to celebrate your twenty-first birthday, I think that a lot of people would agree that Las Vegas is at the top of that list. I know a lot of people think that it would be awesome to spend their twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas, but not that many people actually get the chance to go to Las Vegas and celebrate the biggest birthday of their lives (other than turning sixteen, which is still the best since it’s when you finally get the freedom of legally driving a car). Fortunately, I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to go to Las Vegas for my twenty-first birthday.

Actually, I guess it wasn’t so much luck as it was planning. I knew that it would be an awesome experience, so I started saving my money for the trip quite awhile in advance. I convinced my best friends to do the same, and when it came time for us all to go, we made the most of our trip to Las Vegas. Even though we were only there for four days, we packed so much into our trip that it felt like we were there for over a week.

I am so excited for New Year’s that I would almost be willing to skip over Christmas. I know that sounds really bad, but I am just so excited about New Year’s that it’s hard to get really worked up about Christmas. Although Christmas was the best holiday of the year when I was a little kid, now that I’m much older and can do things like go out to clubs, I think New Year’s has become my new favorite holiday.

Although my friends and I always have a great time on New Year’s, we decided that we are going to go all out for 2009. Since there is no place better to go in the world when all you want to do is party, we are going to be celebrating the beginning of 2009 in the amazing city of Las Vegas. I have some other friends who have spent New Year’s in Las Vegas, and as a result of all the amazing stories that they have told me, I couldn’t be more excited for my own New Year’s trip to Las Vegas!
